Injury Treatment Sports Massage

Muscle Active Anatomy

Suitable for anyone, treating a wide range of injuries, conditions, muscular imbalance and poor posture. Injury Treatment Sports Massage incorporates specific soft and deep tissue techniques to help alleviate pain through focused and localised touch. Providing a positive physiological response within the body.

Each treatment is individually tailored, working on your specific pain-points or muscle group causing concern. Treatments incorporate various soft tissue and massage techniques, such as Myofascial release, Soft Tissue Release (STR), Muscle Energy Techniques (MET), Trigger Point therapy (TPT) and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF).

A thorough Holistic Consultation, Postural and Functional assessment will take place prior to hands-on treatment. You can read more in the FAQ section above.

You may be suffering from back pain, tension headaches, muscular strain, ligament strains or sporting injuries to name a few. Perhaps you’re simply after a treatment to accompany your workout routine, or are using this as a maintenance treatment.

You do not have to play a sport or have incurred an sporting injury to benefit from a sports massage. You may be a professional or just champion of the Office-Olympics!

Injury Treatment Sports Massage is not a one-treatment fix to long-term conditions. A treatment plan and preventative care will be discussed with you. It also cannot cure chronic illnesses and should not replace medical treatment. If you’re suffering any long-term health concerns or conditions, it is always advised to consult with your GP prior to booking a treatment. Treatment may be refused for your safety.

Suitable for those who do not require an in-depth Injury Treatment Sports Massage but are seeking relief from general muscular pain or mental stress.

Deep tissue focuses on realignment of muscle and connective tissue, using slow and deep techniques. Firm pressure is used to manipulate deeper tissues to aid in relieving general muscular aches and pains.

Deep Tissue Massage is offered as a full body treatment, or a shorter treatment tailored to larger areas of the body. Perhaps you’re seeking an improved outcome for chronic muscular tension in your back and shoulders. Perhaps you would prefer attention to your lower limbs, alleviating tightness.

Overall, Deep Tissue Massage is a great choice if you do not have a specific injury concern but require a firm massage that helps the mind and body unwind.

A relaxing treatment with purpose.
